Apple Stores
We were specified by ISP Lighting Design in the USA for one of the world’s most recognised brands, for a roll-out of stores throughout major cities in the UK.
The flagship store being Regent Street in London. We supplied and installed cool white cold cathode to backlight all the perimeter wall displays. Meeting and training rooms were also illuminated by concealed cold-cathode, mounted behind translucent stretch ceilings.

Ritz Carlton, Dublin
Over 1 kilometre of our Coveline Easyfit system was specified by GIA Equation Lighting for the brand new 5 star Ritz Carlton Hotel on the Emerald Isle. Warm White 2800k triphosphor cold cathode lamps provide a seamless wash of light to bring the ornate ceiling to life. With a ceiling height of approx 10 metres, future maintenance would have been an issue, but with a lamp life of approx 45,000 hours, cold cathode was the perfect solution. With excellent colour rendering and a power consumption of 30 watts per metre, the result speaks for itself.

Absolute Hotel, Limerick
Over 180 metres of Brilliant Blue cold cathode lighting was supplied and installed by Kemps in 2007 for this brand new hotel in Limerick, Ireland. High output 200mA convertors and lamps provide a blue glow to the roof line on all sides, which is now quite a landmark around Limerick.

Radisson Hotel
Designed by DHA design, Kemp’s X-treme product was specified to dramatic effect at the new Docklands site for Radisson. Using 20 millimetre diameter Super Blue cold cathode lamps, powered by remote mounted transformers up to 60 metres from the lamps, this was an installation which provided many difficulties, with height access, sheer scale and location, but they were all overcome by close communication with our Project Manager and the Contractor on-site.

Private Residence, Surrey
Designed by Flairlight Lighting Design, Kemps were specified to supply and install our Coveline system using mains dimmable 2800k Warm White cold cathode lamps throughout this impressive new private residence.
Flairlight’s Managing Director Mike Eddowes briefly explains why he chose Kemps; ”We wanted to achieve an energy saving building compliant solution that would provide warm colour, was dimmable and would require little maintenance. Up steps Kemps, whom provided a first class service, initially we were presented with an estimate, once agreed a full site survey was undertaken and after a very brief time frame the product was installed, commissioned and operational. As you can see it looks fantastic and does exactly what it says on the tin. Without bragging, you can be the judge of the outcome.”
