Heathrow T2 shortlisted at LUX Awards
This month brings with it the much anticipated, highly coveted LUX Awards where the Heathrow T2 project has been shortlisted for Industrial and Transport Project of the Year.
The aesthetically striking project designed by our client (and friends), StudioFRACTAL, has wowed the masses and so unsurprisingly has been shortlisted at this year’s event.
Heathrow Airport has also been nominated for the Client of the Year award by the lighting designers for their part in showing just what can be achieved by integrating light into architecture.
It’s always exciting for us to be involved in such an innovative project and our Managing Director, Mark Kemp, is over the moon and says this nomination is very well deserved:
"We are delighted to see StudioFRACTAL nominated here for this fantastic lighting scheme. The nomination is testament to their vision of how light, both natural and artificial, can be integrated into varying kinds of architecture.”
It’s also a proud moment for Kemps as suppliers to a project that has turned heads and impressed thousands of people.
Mark goes on to say: “We are proud to have played our part in the realisation of this prestigious scheme with such pioneering designers and hope this wins the recognition they thoroughly deserve."
The awards take place on the 20th November at The Troxy in London. We will be attending the event with the StudioFRACTAL team so here’s hoping we will be able to celebrate with a post-dinner toast!
