Realising your architectural lighting vision, without fail
Having worked on countless large-scale commercial development projects, we understand the impact the slightest delay can have on an entire project.
Our clients often come to us with intricate designs and tight timescales for completion and in taking on a project, it’s our responsibility to actualise it – whatever the challenges, whether it be sourcing materials or designing a bespoke element.
Here are just two of the reasons why working with us will ensure your lighting design is executed without hitch:
1. Your deadlines are our deadlines, and we ensure your design comes to life – on time and within budget
Whatever the brief, our expert knowledge and market-leading technology enables us to deliver an innovative solution within deadline. Take this project we worked on with lighting design company Cundall, for instance.
As a part of the refurbishment of Sainsbury’s Digital Hub in London we were enlisted to build and install a selection of large hexagonal Lightnet structures that were hung from the ceiling to illuminate the industrial office space.
Commenting on why they chose us to deliver the project, Director of Lighting at Cundall, Andrew Bissell, explained “The project was quite unique in that we wanted to use standard products, but in a bespoke form, coupled with timescales that were very short. To meet these requirements, we approached manufacturers who we knew would be able to provide the products and service we required.”
2. Whatever the scale of the job, our manufacturing expertise enables us to deliver projects that are fit for purpose
Working on this commercial mall development in Bulgaria, we were commissioned by renowned international lighting designer, Tapio Rosenius (Lighting Design Collective) to supply 4km of Kemps' Coveline Cold Cathode system to backlight the coloured bands of light throughout the structure.
Chosen for our expertise in developing Cold Cathode lighting solutions, we were able to create vibrant and seamless colour with a lamplife in excess of 50,000hrs, successfully balancing efficiency with visual impact.
Describing their experience of working with Kemps, Lighting Design Collective founder and design director, Tapio Rosenius, said ‘Kemps Architectural Lighting jumped into a complex, large scale and fast track project with great attitude and resources. Their skills and determination ensured timely and high quality supply of the required lighting technology to our client and helped greatly to achieve a successful realisation of our design.’
With over 25 years in the industry, our experience and extensive product range allows us to take on increasingly creative projects and consistently deliver them on time and within budget. It’s this consistent approach that means our clients trust us to take complex briefs and create something remarkable.
