Founded in Leeds in 1989 by brother and sister team Mark and Mandy Kemp, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve earned as leading UK designers and manufacturers of commercial and architectural luminaires.

Designing, manufacturing
and innovating for 30+ years

We first made our name in the Neon signage industry but by the year 2000, we’d invested in a brand new, purpose-built manufacturing facility and moved into commercial and architectural luminaires. We became recognised for our high quality architectural lighting solutions – securing a reputation for our competitively priced LED luminaires, in high volumes.

When you work with Kemps, you’re guaranteed understanding, creativity and reliable results, with exceptional visual results. Our luminaires meet British and European manufacturing standards, and we only source components and LED technology from renowned and respected brands.

Our team of LED lighting product designers provide a fully bespoke LED lighting service, including prototyping, testing and installation where required. Whatever your project, whatever the scale, and whatever the timeframe, we’ll deliver beyond your expectations.

Our approach to architectural luminaire design

Technology doesn’t stand still and neither do we. We have a passion for pushing boundaries and bringing every brief to life on budget. With every new problem we face, we’re excited to find the solution – with our in-depth knowledge and technical capabilities, we’ve learned that anything is possible.

We draw inspiration from every project we work on, providing a responsive product design service alongside one of the widest ranges of LED luminaires in Europe for you to specify.

As we continue to progress, we’re focusing our design capabilities towards essential sustainability principles, using a circular economy approach to the development of our newer LED luminaires.

As the lighting designers, architects and specifiers we work with require ever more complex solutions, we continue to innovate, with ever growing technology and configuration options to meet the demands of our European and global clients.
