Our Sabre 60 luminaire was proudly specified by renowned lighting design studio Studio Fractal for The Invisible Compass — a striking new chandelier art installation by artist Fabio Lattanzi Antinori.
Client: Land Securities

“Each of the 60 LED fixtures represents the passing of time which tie into Fabio’s revolving text displays. Each fitting represents each minute in the hour, or second in the minute with the use of light and movement of light to characterise time and the timeframes it takes to travel certain destinations from Cardinal Place”

The solution
Each Sabre 60 light tube was independently DMX-controlled, as specified by the design team. To support a smooth installation process, our skilled technicians supplied pre-assembled, ready-to-install control enclosures, allowing the on-site electrical team to complete the setup efficiently.
Every tube features an internal 2700K, 80 CRI LED tape at 19W, delivering a completely homogeneous beam of light along its full 2500mm length — ensuring seamless illumination for this striking chandelier installation.
