Lutron Experience CentreLondon

During spring 2017, two of Kemps’ leading products (Azuna and Proteus) were used within LED lighting systems at the new Lutron European Experience Centre in London.

Specified by lighting designers Hoare Lea, the design illuminated a series of experiential spaces for their client, Lutron.

The location

Lutron is a large, global lighting control and shading solutions manufacturer and their new European Experience Centre in London has been designed to showcase their systems to prospective specifiers and clients. The centre spans over 585m² and displays the full range of Lutron commercial, hospitality and residential solutions.

Located just a short distance from London’s tech, design, and financial districts, the centre has been created as a hub for the design and specification community. It includes several meeting rooms and collaboration areas for system design and training.

Proteus and Azuna LED's

Our Proteus and Azuna LED’s were specified for some of the rooms’ ceilings and furniture displays. The space is smart, sleek and contemporary, showcasing some of the most innovative lighting technology on the market.

It is fantastic to have two of our products on show inside this new facility which is the first Experience and Training Centre opened by Lutron outside North America.

Speaking of the project, Kemps’ Managing Director, Mark Kemp, explained:

“The name Lutron is second to none in the lighting controls world so for us this was a dream project. Hoare Lea specified Kemps to provide our linear LED Proteus RGBW and Azuna 2700K products for the in-direct light throughout this impressive centre.

The Azuna is controlled via DALI and the Proteus by DMX Eldoled drivers, which are our preferred suppliers due to the smooth, low dimming levels which can be achieved.

Lutron’s space is amazing and we are delighted that there is now a venue in London where lighting professionals can see some of our products in action, as well as learning more about the dimming control possibilities from Lutron.

The showroom and education space includes a mix of the company’s innovative light and blind control solutions for commercial, hospitality and residential uses such as its GRAFIK Eye, myRoom, Quantum, and HomeWorks QS systems.”

We are quite satisfied with Kemps’ products used at Lutron’s European Experience in London. Their performance and design are contributing to making our new centre the European home for the design and specification community and their customers.
